Chambord is inspired by a unique raspberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France the late 17th Century. The liqueur was said to have been introduced to King Louis XIV during one of his visits to Chateau de Chambord during his reign. Today, Chambord is enjoyed throughout the world. Embraced for its velvety rich taste and versatility, it is delicious neat, on the rocks, as a flavourful ingredient in cocktails or with champagne. Chambord is crafted from the world’s finest raspberries and blackberries, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey and cognac to create a delicious all-natural Black Raspberry liqueur. Crafted at The Woodford Reserve Distillery, Kentucky’s oldest, smallest and slowest working distillery, circa 1812. Since its introduction to the US Market in 1996 Woodford Reserve has won three of the most prestigious tasting competitions as the World’s Best Bourbon. Finland is famous not only for it’s 600,000 saunas but for its pristine environment. Finlandia Vodka is made from naturally pure spring water, filtrated through ancient glacial rock dating from the Ice Age. Finlandia Vodka brings you a uniquely cool, crisp, pristine, neutral taste . . . a smooth brilliance and is now available in four natural fruit flavours. Finlandia Vodka. . . untouched, untainted and unspoiled. The purest tasting vodka. As nature intended. FUTURE KIDS PROGRAM
Variety’s Future Kids Program focuses on:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & PLAY

Boardmaker $699
A number of children have a delay in their receptive and expressive language development. This can affect their ability to understand their environment and to communicate their needs, wants and social interests with those around them. A visual communication system such as a Boardmaker enables them to improve their communication and play skills.

Variety Kids Christmas Party $200
Variety is proud to host the biggest “down under” party for kids every year, with hundreds of disadvantaged and special needs children attending this mammoth event. The children are treated to an enormous array of activities and experiences, and each child also receives fantastic presents. Even though all of the work for the party is done on a volunteer basis, and many items are donated, it still costs around $200 for each child to attend. Your donation of $200 would ensure another child will be treated to a day they will truly treasure.

Variety Scholarship Program $5,000
This program was initiated in 2006 to help foster talent in sports, arts, drama, music, academia and self-development for children who are sick or disadvantaged, and are already showing success in their chosen area. Amounts of up to $5,000 per child may be used for purchasing equipment, paying for coaching/lessons and other valuable resources.

CARING FOR KIDS PROGRAM
Variety’s Caring for Kids Program focuses on:
HOSPITAL CARE, SERVICES & EQUIPMENT

Donation towards Myoelectric Hand Program - $5,000
Variety has been contributing to the marvellous Myoelectric Hand Program at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for more than 20 years. Your donation will help make an enormous difference to the lives of the children who are involved in this program.

FREEDOM PROGRAM
The Variety Freedom Program provides for mobility, communication devices and independant wheelchairs, Liberty Swings and Sunshine Coaches.

Shower commode $3,750
When it’s “bath-time”, a shower commode offers a safe and secure method for bathing for special needs children and their parents/carers.

Suction wig $3,050
Children who suffer from Alopecia often suffer from emotional distress due to their
hair loss. A suction wig helps transform their confidence, particularly during their teenage years.

Manual wheelchair $4,750
Variety receives many requests for manual wheelchairs, and some of these are from families whose child has outgrown their current wheelchair, and are in desperate need of a larger wheelchair to make their child more comfortable.

Power wheelchair $12,500
Often a manual wheelchair is not the best option for a child, and a power wheelchair is requested. Power wheelchairs can give children far more independence, as they don’t get as tired, are generally able to keep up better with their peers, and therefore more able to “join in” with their community.

Vehicle modifications $10,000
Many wheelchairs cannot be folded to fit into a standard car or van, and Variety receives many requests from parents who need financial assistance to help fund vehicle modifications, so their child can travel safely to medical appointments and recreational activities with their wheelchair. These modifications can be very expensive, and Variety funds up to $10,000 per vehicle.

Sunshine Coach $40,000
Variety brings sunshine to the lives of thousands of children through our Sunshine Coaches, enabling the children to get “out and about” in their community. If you are able to be a major sponsor of a Sunshine Coach, you will of course be invited to the special “Presentation Day” to the school or community group receiving the coach, and your business logo will be prominently displayed on the coach, as a permanent reminder of your much appreciated help.

Liberty Swing $23,000
Every child deserves to experience the exhilaration of swinging through the air, with the wind on their face and joy in their heart. For those confined to a wheelchair, this was never an option until the Australian invention called the Liberty Swing. Variety is proud to have installed Liberty Swings into many schools and parks and community centres around Australia, and we ask for your help to fund more of these wonderful swings to very deserving children.
